I've only just gone 18 but I've been playing since I was 10 so although I know the game well, I've not had much experience with money games.
I've played online a lot in freerolls, SNGs and money games if I can win enough and I managed to get a few days here and there of grinding before I tilt and lose it all.
But I was thinking about taking around £100 and setting myself some realistic goals and taking grinding a lot more seriously and seeing how it goes.
I've read into it a bit and there's mixed opinions so I was looking for your opinion on it....
I deposit 50 dollars at a time on fulltiltpoker and in total ive deposited around 400 dollars on the site due to the fact that I keep busting.
The most I have ever worked my 50 dollar deposit up to was 350 by playing 25/50 cent PLO heads up tables, and 25/50 cent hold em heads up tables. Unfortunatly I ended up losing it all in a matter of minutes. Its the same story with my other 50 dollar deposits that I have made.
I would say the number one reason for me constantly busting would be that I hate leaving a table the loser. I just wont leave my heads up opponent if he/she has...

Avoid being “Raked” in Omaha High/Low (H/L) cash games
Omaha H/L is a great game to play because it gives you the opportunity to play two types of games per hand. The best “high” hand receives half of the pot and the best “low” hand receives the other half of the pot. It also works well in cash games sessions, but there’s one small problem…THE RAKE!
Typically in Omaha h/l, the best strategy is to try and get a three-way situation where the odd man (the person who lost and high and low hands) is the loser. Often times thought,...

Cash games are an anxious enterprise for some. Ergo of paramount importance is the stakes at which you play. Finding yourself hesitant to limp in or even to make a slight raise in early position is a sure sign you should not be at that table. Obversely if you find yourself calling down draws or even that your competition push aggressively over the top with the slightest of hands, it is likely you are playing at stakes which are not deigned as serious. One must divest themself of these distractions, for verily...
These players are the most dangerous in that they may have tendencies of being solid and weak, many of them in poker learning stages that may well be improving. I find the reason why these online poker players are stuck in this zone is that they can’t let go of draws, even when pot odds justify an obvious fold. The course of action here is basically straight up, unless you have some other indication of their play. If you have them on an obvious draw, bet solid. If the river is a brick add one small bet to cap it off, and hope for a re-raise. In game play, they are the ones to watch most in...
Have you ever heard the phrase; “The house always wins”? Well the same is true for cash games, but house isn’t the online poker site, it’s your fellow poker players and the online poker site or your choice. Basically, the same pool of money will constantly move from player to player and the only true winners here are the sites because of the rake.
Based on what I see (and what I’ve done plenty of times in the past myself), you will eventually lose your money at a cash table session (bad beat, called bluff, dominated hand, ect.) if you continue to play....
